He is 13 years old. He is easy to catch, load and shoe. He has been used in Jr. and High school Rodeo as a goat tying horse. He has been on many cattle round-ups in the hills and in the branding pen roping and dragging calves to the fire. He is a very kind gentle horse. Any time we have had an inexperienced rider, he is the one we put them on. He is about 14-141/2 hands and about 1100 pounds. He has a smooth trot and canter and is very pleasant to ride.
I got on him today to work with him a little and see how he was. He has had mostly inexperienced riders on him when he has been ridden and usually horses pick up bad habits because of that. He was really good. He still picks up his leads well on cue, he does everything asked, he doesn't have a mean bone in him. I roped on him today. As I mentioned before, we have roped on him in the branding pen, outside doctoring cattle, and as a heel horse in the arena. He isn't real fast but would make a good heel horse for a youth rider.
