Rocking R Paints was raising champagne's long before the color was even recognized and our stock traces back to the APHA foundation champagne mare, Gold Bonnet. Two of our mares are sired by the legendary Good Gold Almighty, who started the 'champagne Paint' ball rolling. The champagne gene was genetically located in 2008 at the University of Kentucky making this dilution one of the rarest recognized colors in horsedom and in the APHA registry. After thirty years in the business we are retiring. Our stallion, Fella, is extremely easy to handle and is homozygous for the black gene [$9500]. He pasture breeds or hand breeds and has been handled by men and women. Our mares have been exposed to our stallion for 2010 foals. We welcome your inquiries. More pictures available by e-mail. This is a RARE opportunity for anyone wishing to enter or expand into the champagne Paint showing/breeding business. Our horses are bred for temperment, conformation, and color. They carry some of the most noted genes in Paint history.
