Green Broke 6 year old grade Paint Mare 15 HH.
Reason for selling? - My mother has too many horses, so I brought her to Duluth in April 2009 to work with her this year.
Not for the Novice Rider. She is worked 3-4 times/week since I board her at a facility with indoor and outdoor arenas and local trails only 20 minutes away via trailer. Patches will make a great Ranch or Trail Class prospect. She naturally carries her head low and has a nice collected canter. She side passes, opens gates, pushes cattle, pulls log, crosses bridges and water.
Would do best in a small herd since she is a timid horse. Very inquisitive on the trail and has done well on overnight trail rides tied on picket line. Has been rode bare back in the arena only a handful of times and once after a trail ride to take her for a swim.
She is a great little mare who will only get better with hours in the saddle and a patient rider. Had one set of front shoes on this fall and stood motionless for farrier considering it was her first time.
She is currently located in Barnum MN at a boarding facility with indoor and outdoor riding arenas if interested in seeing her.
UTD on shots and has negative coggins.
