A gorgeous palomino paint mare, Mesa (aka: The Fabulous Blonde) is a "point and shoot" finished preliminary level eventer. Professionally trained in dressage and jumping. A very careful and precise jumper, Mesa is always very tight with her knees over fences. Great changes. She competed very successfully at Prelim summer '08 and normally finishes with no jump or time faults. Brave to the fences, quick and handy, Mesa would be incredible in the jumper ring. Loves to jump, she's competed through 3'7" stadium and cross-country, and schooled to 4'. Her color is priceless and she stands out any crowd. Mesa is extremely low maintenance, totally 100% sound, quiet to handle, and an easy keeper with no vices. Trailers, bathes, vets, farriers. Bombproof; Mesa has seen and done it all. Summer '09: Mesa is spending this season at novice/training teaching a rider new to eventing and they've finished in the ribbons on their first three events together. Aug 2008, Mesa finished second overall at Penrose HT at Prelim. July 2008, The Fabulous Blonde completed her first prelim show on her first attempt, clear cross country finishing exactly on optimum time, placing fifth and qualifying for Area IX Championships. She qualified for AECs Prelim Horse division in her first attempt. You can view Mesa going Cross Country training and prelim and new photos on our website at www.applecrossfarms.com.
